John Casiano launched Utopia Bridge in 2021 with the idea that petroleum is the way to prosperity, safety, and freedom. Looking at the global energy reliance and economy, the countries with cheap reliable energy are the cleanest and safest. Texas and the US can build a bridge to energy freedom with the most reliable, energy dense and transportable energy source - oil and gas. We must add more reliable energy to the global energy portfolio. We also need to boost human connections and interactions with O&G and subsurface explorers in order to reach our full potential.
John worked at a small public company for over 11 years in multiple basins (Williston, Permian, PRB, Gulf Coast/ Eagle Ford) working primarily in unconventional reservoirs and also has experience in conventional reservoirs as well. He was very successful, especially in the Williston Basin, planning and drilling high production oil wells and improving EUR in the Bakken.
Between consulting and generating prospects, John would like to work promoting oil and gas, and geology while sharing how extraordinary the petroleum industry and its people are. John also donates much of his time to the South Texas Geological Society, where he served as President, on the Executive Committee, and is now the Chair of the Youth and Community Outreach committee. He is also very involved with the American Association of Petroleum Geologists as a Delegate and other committees.

I was blessed with 11 years of planning, landing, steering and cheering on this rig. I do not believe Americans understand all the work that goes into flipping a switch for lights or turning their car key to start an engine. They don't realize how much sacrifice is made for them to live comfortable, safe lives. I will always be grateful for all the great hands we had that worked around the clock in the frozen air of ND and Wyoming or the blistering heat in South and West Texas.
